Fawzia Noor’s biography

​

Fawzia Noor is a Licensed Paralegal. She obtained a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Paralegal Studies at Humber College. (She has been providing legal services for the past 15 years, her major area of practice being in Accident Benefits (Motor Vehicle Accidents). Since 2003, she has been dealing with insurance companies and various law firms regarding accident benefit cases. Fawzia has also conducted mediation and arbitration pre-hearings with the Financial Services Commission of Ontario. She is multilingual with a diverse background, with the ability to speak: English, Bengali, Swedish, Urdu, Hindi, and French. Fawzia has been operating Noor Legal Services which offers services to people in different communities in relation to motor vehicle accident cases.

 

As a paralegal, she has worked on a number of catastrophic files including spinal cord injury, brain injury and chronic pain.

 

Fawzia Noor has also obtained a post-graduate certificate in the Alternate Dispute Resolution program. She is also a community mediator, a conflict coach at Conflict Resolution Service at Dixie Bloor and Neighbourhood Centre. She has been presenting various conflict resolution workshops for different organizations.  Moreover, she has experience in mediating various cases such as neighbor and family disputes. She possesses the ability to diffuse highly stressful situations by communicating and listening empathetically to others.
